Melissa and Adam's Wedding

August 27, 2009

On Saturday I had to pleasure of photographing Melissa and Adam’s wedding. It was awesome! They got married in her mother’s backyard, which was beautifully landscaped, and everything went wonderfully. The groom put it best when he said, “Stress? Who needs that?” As far as photographing a wedding goes there was very little stress. Here are a few photos from the day:

Looking Up

August 20, 2009

Perspective is important in photography, so I am always looking around me in all directions for interesting angles to photograph. As I was loading my groceries into the car, the other day, I happened to look up.  And this is what I saw:

Last weekend I had the pleasure of tagging along with Georgie to a photoshoot out at the BC Aviation Museum. An excellent location to shoot at! The weather was perfect, with some high cloud cover and sun. The model looked great, sporting three very different outfits. And I got to play with my lights and camera gear! I took way too many photos and have a ton of favorites. Here are just a few!

Georgie

August 10, 2009

Last week I met up with Georgie to do a little photo shoot down at the church on Brock Street. Nothing too sensational about the shoot. I experimented a bit with shooting through foliage as a gobo (a go between) and played with my lights a little. Mostly, though, I just used the natural setting sunlight and tried to ignore the catcalls of the people walking by. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot. And check out Georgie’s website and work at : www.georgiewilson.com/
