Wedding Music Playlist :: Victoria Wedding Photographer

Kevin and I agreed that one of the ways we could save a bit of money was by not hiring a DJ. We are lucky to have a good friend who is very comfortable talking, mic in hand, who was happy to help with some MC’ing  and we rented some audio equipment from Avista (in San Francisco) and we were set.

Kevin was in charge of the wedding playlists; a very good thing,  because I CANNOT for the life of me remember the name of bands, albums, song titles or even lyrics, even to songs that I like and listen to regularly ( I have the same problem with wine). So, while I was busy making birds and designing menus, Kevin was fretting over the order of songs for dinner, drinks and of course dancing. In the end we had a great dance party that appealed to just about everyone.  My proof of this is that my 87 year old Grandmother was dancing away, along with her great granddaughter (my cousin’s cutie-pie-three-year-old) as well as every other age in between.

So, I thought I would share our playlist with the world for all those brides and grooms to be, who are looking to save a little.
